WHAT DO WE DO?
The Charitable Foundation “DroneUA” is a social initiative of the DroneUA group of companies aimed at supporting affected Ukrainians, orphanages, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and other critical social infrastructure institutions that facing an energy crisis.
More than over 150,000 buildings damaged by enemy shelling have been recorded in Ukraine, 73,000 of which cannot be restored. Another 4,500 social, educational, and healthcare institutions remain partially or completely destroyed, yet continue to fulfill their civic mission, providing services to Ukrainians in extremely difficult conditions. The most affected regions in terms of damage to the housing stock are Dnipropetrovs'k, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions.
People of the eastern and southern regions still have no access to electricity, and therefore to communication, heating, and any comfortable living conditions. Social institutions, such as orphanages, schools, and kindergartens, are unable to provide basic conditions for learning and living. Children study by candlelight without full access to educational materials. Hospitals in frontline cities cannot provide quality care to civilians and military personnel due to unstable or non-existent electricity supply. Extremely sensitive medical equipment requires a constant power supply during doctors’ manipulations. Ukrainians need immediate help, decisive action, and light amid the darkness of current events.
Our national mission is to strengthen the energy security of Ukrainians by ensuring a backup power supply to social facilities and building energy independence in the course of Ukraine’s reconstruction.
